In November 2022, what was supposed to be a simple one-time blind date to the Navy Strike Fighter Ball—courtesy of our bestie-matchmakers Collin and Alice Curtin—quickly turned into the beginning of something neither of us saw coming. Somewhere between the dress whites, the speeches, and the party bus was the realization that the “just a plus-one” plan had gone completely off script.

Three years later, in December 2025, Michael brought our story full circle when he proposed on a cliffside near Carmel, California—on our anniversary—turning that blind date into our forever.
